I hate horse racing, like the ones around the really long tracks, i think it is a cruel sport people put there horses through to just get some money and more horses to race. So, just wondering, how many horses die per year during a race? And i don’t care if the horse was trained, i still think it’s cruel. And I HATE it when they use their whips.

I know this won’t matter because you are only here to “try” and cause havoc with the horse racing industry, but watch this video anyway! You just may learn something about how “not” cruel this industry is and what goes on behind the scenes and the backside on a daily basis to ensure that the horses are treated right with regards to safety and welfare. I don’t know about your states horse racing board, but in my state of California, they are the nations leader when it comes to safety for horse and rider…… Here is the video. Enjoy! :- )

That’s a link to an NTRA page… it has a map of the US and you can click on which state you live in and see what tracks are around. Not all tracks run all year long, but the ntra page should tell you if there’s races now and should give you a link to the track’s website.

I have recently watched the movie “Pharlap” which was based ona true story. After finishing watching it, I realised that horse racing can be really cruel to the horses. I saw how hard they pushed the horse, made him sick, and how the crowd would ‘poison’ or hurt him if he lost or in fact even won a race. Does anyone agree with me? That horse racing is cruel?

ok in the section “horse racing” on here…..the only thing people are asking is why people kill horses when they break their legs because of the breeders cup accident. theres like 20 questions that are asking that……are they just too stupid to scroll down and look at the other answers instead of asking it again, because their asking the same question their just going to get the same answers.

i want something realistic and that is a street racing game. Somethig where you race on open roads with traffic and lots of other realistic things. I am thinking NFS carbon or bunrout. Recomment others as well.

Answer by bleachisback Try NFS undercover. It’s even more realistic to the point of the fact that you can get cops to chase you =D. Burnout paradise is also a good game, but gets boring after a while if you don’t want to spend money on add-ons.

I also race imports and muscle – street only.
I am fully aware that it is illegal and dangerous. Use the proper saftey gear, closed roads are cest, and make sure people stay back from the cars.

So heres my question and its about street racing. How far does the rabbit borough go? Why do people street race without the consent of themselves knowing how to drive good? Most street racers crash because they don’t know how to control their car which then comes in the art of drifting. Simply I’m getting some sort of car either japanese or a german made 2000 bmw m3. Still I plan to go on the track. As well how much can a fine for street racing go for in SoCal and how long do they impound your car for? As well considering I know people street race on desert highways late at night and on desolate canyon roads, mountain passes, etc.
